My professional experience includes extensive work with children, youth, and families in the Santa Clara Behavioral Health Department. I have also worked with survivors of domestic abuse and trauma survivors. My areas of specialty and post-graduate training are in trauma, birth to five mental health, parenting, and eating disorders, specifically Anorexia Nervosa.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology and double minor in Nutrition Food Sciences and Sociology, from San Jose State University, and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California (MFC# 46428), and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
